The role is for a defense company based in Abu Dhabi, UAE
The role is a full time permanent position and will require relocation to Abu Dhabi, UAE. The company will provide relocation assistance.
The role can pay a very attractive tax free salary package (No income tax in the UAE), in addition to the salary they will also provide family benefits like visa, health insurance, children's education allowance, yearly plane ticket to home country, annual bonus and annual performance review.
Java Software Engineers
Application Software. Abu Dhabi, UAE
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Java SW Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi.
Job responsibilities:
- Research, design and development for cutting edge cellular communications solutions using Java, Akka, Gradle, Gitlab and Docker
- Design and development of Domain Driven Design, Reactive Architecture, Actor based system
- Develop CI/CD pipeline, Unit tests, integration tests and E2E tests
- Work collaboratively with professional developers, system architects and product managers to deliver high quality technical solutions
- Contribute to technological and architectural decisions
- Work and collaborate in multidisciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile spirit, methodology and tools
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Java/Kotlin software development
- Experience with functional programming, messagebased communication, Reactive programming, DDD and TDD
- BSc or equivalent in computer science or related field
- Ability to read documentation and create tools based on the specifications
- Selfdirected highly capable at planning out work and executing projects independently
- Team player experienced in working in agile environment
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills
Other requirements:
- Passion for Software Development and Technology in general
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure
- Good level of spoken and written English language (upperintermediate)
