Role Summary/Purpose

Responsible for product planning and product marketing by managing the product and solutions through the Lifecycle. Prioritize product and customer requirements. Define the product vision and goto market approach/strategy. Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Field Services to ensure successful implementation of products and solutions at the customers' fleets.

Essential Responsibilities

Understanding customer needs and identifying products and solution that matches their demands/requirements
Monitoring the market and developing competitive analyses
Defining a vision for a product
Aligning stakeholders, both internal and externally, around the vision for the product
Prioritizing product features and capabilities
Gather product data (performance, competitive intel, etc)

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
At least 5 years of experience in industry
Language: fluent in English and Portuguese and desired Spanish
Knowledge on railway business segment
Ability to work on multitasks teams and influence stakeholders, both internal and externally

Business Acumen

Strong problemsolving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
Expert in breaking down problems and estimate time for development tasks
Evangelizes how our technology solves customer problems from a technology and business perspective

Leadership

Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions
Influences through others; builds direct and "behind the scenes" support for ideas
Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers (Road Block) on behalf of the team
Shares knowledge, power, and credit, establishing trust, credibility, and goodwill

Personal Attributes

Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
Able to work well with global teams, including timezone flexibility
Skilled in providing oversight and mentoring team members
