Purpose:


Manage the product or category innovation within a region, define and implement strategies, and lead assigned marketing activities in order to ensure Givaudan's primary position within the relevant product or category space, according to overall business objectives and global/regional marketing strategy.

Define product or category strategies, priorities, and action plans under supervision
Develop an understanding of the assigned product or category space within the local market
Ensure product or category strategies are included in Account Development Plans and are executed against
Identify needs and opportunities through external and internal analysis

Engage with Sales as assigned to provide marketing support for customers
Partner with Sales and local technical teams to identify growth opportunities and target accounts
Develop relationships with customers and define and execute marketing activities
Ensure the Regional Marketing activity is consistent with and supports Flavour Division and Segment
Branding & Positioning
Lead development of regional product or category concepts and present to target customers
Ensure that customers know and understand our capabilities

Support innovation efforts
Ensure that our products, technology and concepts are relevant and translatable to the customers' brands & local markets
Support building an ongoing pipeline of customer trend, capabilities and innovation presentations in alignment with global and regional strategic priorities and account plans
Partner with Technical to deliver customer presentations on new technologies to local target customers

Academic Background
University degree in Marketing or related field

Professional Experience
At least 4 years B2B Marketing experience with a strong know how of B2C Marketing in an international environment
Experience in Food and Beverage or related industry an advantage

Technical Skills
Fluent English, other languages a plus
Achieving internal readiness to sample produce new products and technologies
Ability to crystallize clear messages from complex sources and data
Strong influencing skills and comfortable across diverse functional groups
Solid understanding of branding
Ability to plan actively, ensuring sales buy in and securing the required technical support
Strong project management
Excellent oral and written communication ability and presentation skills
