Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or communications.

Preferred qualifications:


  • Experience working for a news or media company.
  • Knowledge of creative storytelling, proactive press outreach, and building relationships with journalists and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to think creatively and generate big ideas.
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to work in a fastpaced, highstress environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

About the job:


As a Business-to-Business (B2B) Communications Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape our local business narrative and work with local business area leads and cross-functional teams to craft and execute Google's B2B communications strategy, a priority market for the company.

You will help inform and educate users, advertisers, partners, opinion leaders about how Google is helping companies of all sizes transform for the digital age, company culture/values, and approach to the big public policy issues of the day.


In this role, you will manage a number of different projects at the same time, meet tight deadlines, and enjoy pitching to all kinds of journalists, influencers and commentators.


Responsibilities:


  • Drive all B2B communications in Brazil by managing peers and our external Public Relations (PR) agency partners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, working crossfunctionally to develop our overall business narrative.
  • Engage in meetings with commentators and other opinion formers, positioning Google as a thought leader.
  • Monitor, detect and manage press and social media cycles about our products and brands, prepare highlevel executives for external engagements. Create compelling stories about how our products and solutions are helping businesses of all sizes.
  • Craft specific communications materials and campaigns, including internal and external communication materials for digital and traditional media, press releases, blog posts, pitches, FAQs, video scripts and key messages. Work in a collaborative and teamoriented manner to support communications in crossproduct projects.
