- Manage the complete HR agenda, processes, and deliverables for all LATAM People Leaders and associates
- Collaborate with People Leaders and the business to develop and implement organization and people strategies, solutions, and plans
- Partner with Staffing on strategic staffing and recruitment efforts
- Offer guidance on compensation matters including planning, review, and approval of compensation actions
- Provide management coaching and support compliance with local labor laws and company policies
- Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 5+ years in HR
- Demonstrated ability to lead effectively in a matrixed organization
- Fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish desired
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
- Experience in lean and continuous improvement practices

POSITION SUMMARY:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will lead talent and HR initiatives to support business objectives in the LATAM region. This role focuses on strategic activities and typically involves participating in the leadership team. Key responsibilities may include Organization Design, Workforce Planning, Diversity & Inclusion, Talent Assessment, Succession Planning, Leadership Retention, and Associate Engagement Strategy.
This role acts as the primary contact for all HR matters related to Cepheid's LATAM operations, encompassing Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. It is crucial for executing people initiatives, providing internal customer support, and enhancing HR functional excellence to ensure a positive associate experience.
