Introduction


As a promoter of sustainable mobility in Brazil, our Alstom units develop and market systems, equipment and services for the railway sector, as trains to metros, tramways, personalized services (maintenance, modernisation) as well as offers dedicated to passengers and infrastructure, digital mobility and signalling solutions.

Alstom Brazil has a very challenge period upcoming with important Projects such as Wanda (Taiwan), Bucharest (Romania), Metro São Paulo Line 6 (Brazil) and CPTM L8&9 (Brazil), to be manufacured at our site and we need to reinforce our Supplier Quality team with a competent engineer to ensure a good level of bought material, since first parts.


Specific responsibilities of the role:

Responsible for Non conformity day-to day management, insuring reactivity to inform supplier of NCR, to replace defective parts and to implement securization.

Animate NCR treatment by setting-up relevant actions plan to reach Supplier NCR target

Invoice the cost of non Quality ( Conq S1) to the suppliers

Check the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive action plan and ensure control plan substainability ( regular follow-up on main suppliers)


Qualifications & Experience

Competencies:


  • Technology in Electrical/ Mechanical/production
  • Internal Auditor experience is preferred.
  • Railway and signaling products knowledge is preferred.
  • Knowledge and know how to use Quality Tools, as: 8D, QRQC, Control Plan, PFMEA, DFQ, Ishikawa, Pareto, Factor Tree Analysis, 5Whys, 5S.
  • Knowledge in Quality standard (ISO 9001, ISO TS 22163, IPCA610) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Standard Quality KPIs.

Previous experience

  • Desirable minimiun: 1 years of supplier quality activities in railway industries.

Language skills

  • Fluent English, Fluent Portuguese, Intermediate Spanish.

Travel required

  • Availability for travels.
