Our team in Brazil is growing; we are currently recruiting for a
Senior Project Director to join our team in the Belo Horizonte office.

About the role

The
Senior Project Director is responsible for leading and managing complex industrial projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specified quality standards.

This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, risk management, and effective communication with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of industrial project.

Main Responsabilites

Project Planning and Strategy:

Develop and implement comprehensive project plans and strategies to achieve project objectives.
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments

Team Leadership and Management:

Assemble and lead crossfunctional project teams, including engineers, project managers, contractors, and other professionals.
Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to team members.
Foster a collaborative and resultsdriven team culture.

Budget and Cost Management:

Create and manage project budgets, monitoring expenses and ensuring cost control.
Identify costsaving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.

Project Execution:

Oversee all project activities, including construction, ensuring they align with project plans and timelines.
Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure that industrial processes and operations adhere to industry standards and best practices.

Risk Management:

Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle

Stakeholder Communication:

Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, investors, regulatory authorities, and internal teams.
Address stakeholder concerns and maintain positive relationships.

Quality Assurance:

Implement and enforce quality control processes to meet project quality standards.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.

Safety and Environmental Compliance:

Promote and prioritize a strong safety culture throughout the project.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Minimize the environmental impact of industrial operations.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare regular project status reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Maintain accurate project documentation and records

About you

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (advanced degrees are often preferred).
Extensive experience in managing industrial projects, including a proven track record of success.
Strong knowledge of industrial processes, equipment, and operations.
Excellent project management skills and proficiency in project management software.
Familiarity with industryspecific regulations and standards.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Financial acumen and budget management experience.
Ability to work in dynamic and challenging industrial environments.
Proficient English level (spoken and written)
