Primary Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Ensure the accuracy of tax books and related ancillary obligations, thus ensuring the correct assessment of taxes
Guide and support assistants and analysts in carrying out activities, ensuring that they are carried out in accordance with current legislation
Strong knowledge in monitoring the tax legislation in the 3 spheres, ensuring the integrity of the SAP ERP system, Tax Software and CIA operations
Conduct the monthly fiscal closing, through analysis, revisions and verification of the Head Office and Branches reports
Identify problems and propose solutions focused on the quality of information, efficiency and productivity, conduct improvement initiatives and process automation according to best practices for the company
Support the fiscal responsible in the execution of activities such as: Internal requests and internal/external audit, supervisory bodies
Followup on eCAC, DEC

Knowledge

Knowledge in Direct/ Withholding Taxes
Expertise in tax transaction analysis
Maintenance and Parameterization of Fiscal Rules in ERP
Experience in Interpreting / Updating Tax Laws
Good Knowledge in Accounting Reconciliation (taxes)

Minimum Requirements:

University degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related areas;
Minimum experience of 5 years in ICMS / ICMS-ST / IPI / PIS COFINS and all ancillary obligations
Desirable Intermediate to advanced Excel
English minimum Intermediate, Spanish desirable
Location: Guarulhos, Brazil
