What you'll learn & achieve:

The
LATAM Business Development Manager for Appliances, HVAC & Lighting is tasked with developing the market approach strategy and product lifecycle roadmap for new and existing service line(s) for the AHL COU.

The incumbent will also work closely with clients and industry stakeholders to identify specific needs and develop new products and services that will fuel long-term business growth for the organization.

Through customer feedback and industry participation, the BDM will be responsible for the overall go-to-market strategy, testing the viability of the product/service, and successfully launching the service within specified timelines.

They will work collaboratively across all business functions necessary to launch and deliver new and existing services throughout the lifecycle.

This includes working in continuous coordination with Engineering, Operations, Quality Assurance, Sales, Marketing, Client Services and with external stakeholders.

  • Develop, champion and execute new service strategies that ensure profitable growth that meets the businesses' desired goals.
  • Collaborate with regional product managers on product mix assessment, market share evaluation, competitive analysis, commercialization of new concepts and market acceptance of new services.
  • Collaborate with regional stakeholders to ensure new service development remains on time and on budget.
  • Evaluate, advocate for and set key product priorities in line with the business strategy and objectives.
  • Implement market research strategies based on customer and market requirements that evaluate Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats.
  • Recommend new products for development based on customer/market needs and business goals.
  • Implement the tools and processes needed to define the go to market strategy and vision for new services.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the team by examining internal processes and identifying and executing on opportunities to streamline and create synergies throughout the COU.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, speed, innovation, excellence and fun while continuously elevating the quality and caliber of the COU.
  • Work with new and potential customers to understand their needs and the business value that they will derive from using our platforms.
  • Work closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Professional Services and Customer Service groups to develop worldclass sales tools, templates, product collateral, white papers, customer case studies, and sales presentations.
What makes you a great fit:


  • University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor's degree) in Business Administration, Marketing or a related disciplines
  • Five years of experience in Appliances, HVAC or Lighting, TIC or manufacturing
  • Experience with Marketing and/or Sales area with account management
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate, acquire and manage high value customer accounts.
  • Ability to explain the value add strategy approach.
  • Detailed understanding of the applicable industry product lines and target markets.
  • Fluent English verbal and written communication
