What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure:

This position will give you a chance to work with cutting-edge technologies such as AWS Lambda, ECS, Cloudfront, S3, Terraform, Docker and more.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with other software developers and product owners to understand the requirements and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
Implement, deploy, and maintain development, staging & production environments for cloudbased AWS microservices architecture.
Contribute to a healthy and collaborative team spirit within the large, interdisciplinary product teams based in United States and Switzerland as well as other Siemens Building Products locations worldwide.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred.
2+ years of experience in software design and development, especially focused on micro front ends / Webpack.
1+ years of experience in working with AWS services, especially Lambda, ECS, and Cloudfront.
Good programming skills with experience in , Python, Typescript, and Angular.
Familiarity with Web of Things (WoT) concepts.
Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs using AWS or other platforms.
Experience in using tools such as Git, Gitlab CI/CD or Jenkins for version control and continuous integration.
Experience with TDD / BDD
Familiarity with mDNS / DNS-SD
Excellent communication and moderation skills in English and Portuguese, with the ability to produce high quality written documentation.
A solutionoriented and independent working style.
Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Good people skills and experience in project management.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Good analytical and problemsolving skills.
