Job Description:


As a General Manager Operations, your mission is to oversee local strategies set by the local General Manager, liaising with company headquarters.

You will be reporting to the General Manager Brazil (from now on GM) and responsible for the efficiency of the business in a constantly mutating environment.


You will support the management of a team currently composed of people in the following functions: Digital Distribution, Artist Services Distribution, Marketing and Communications, people passionate with music in charge of delivering the best marketing services with passion, innovation, care, and transparency.


Your duties will include but not limited to the following
All your actions are guided by our vision of growth, respect, fairness, transparency and expertise.

  • Implement business strategies from an operational standpoint, plans and procedures decided by the GM, in compliance with the central strategy, with a view to meet our clients' needs and reach our growth goals
  • Support GM in setting and track comprehensive goals for performance and growth
  • Establish policies, according to the Group guidelines, that promote Believe Group culture and vision set by the CEO
  • Oversee and improve daily operations efficiency of the company:

1. Finance

  • Establish and maintain effective financial management ensuring professional business practices, compliance with internal controls & local rules
  • Supervise day to day financial topics & monthly closing with the Finance Manager, and in close junction with Headquarters, to be reported to the GM
  • Help GM tracking weekly progress on Budget, KPIs, Streamings and identify process improvements to streamline and make sales more efficient

2. Legal

  • Oversee compliance of Group rules related to local contracts with market needs in cooperation with GM, Distribution and Artist Service executives
  • Approve key metrics on major deals to provide the GM with arguments for efficient negotiation, win on competition and optimize the final P&L
  • Optimise legal process and legal documents in cooperation with GM, Distribution and ASD executives to ensure efficiency in achieving new signing goals

3. Operations

  • Design some workflows to ensure consistency between the local and the central teams
  • Lead and improve backend operations which include the supply chain, rights, and finance operations
  • Collaborate with GM and local executives at optimising existing workflow & procedures.
  • Successfully structure flows to deploy new activities such as "Artist Services" commercial offer according to the goals set by the CEO.
  • Simplify, streamline, and increase the efficiency of Central OPS according to the sales goals of the Americas Business Unit in Sales, Legal, Reporting, Payments, Content, Support, Data
  • Manage accommodation and facilities with the Office Manager.

4. HR

  • Coordinate local HR in collaboration with regional HR department
  • Contribute to Job Description for legal, finance and OPS hires
  • Coordinate the development of quarterly OKR goals for functions and direct reports
  • Contribute to developing gender equality and diversity in the organization
  • Evaluate and collaborate in the decision making of key investments in equipment, infrastructure, and talent
  • Take part in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.) decided by the MD in line with the Group M&A and be focus on the management of the postacquisition such as the integration and the implementation of the processes and workflows of Believe

Qualifications:


  • Honesty, humility, and ethics will be key to be part of the team

  • You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in relevant positions
  • With outstanding organisational and leadership abilities (not coercive) you have demonstrated competency in strategy implementation
  • Aptitude in decisionmaking and problemsolving, you are targetdriven and have an achievementoriented management style
  • You are an experienced professional in financial planning & strategy implementation
