Job Purpose and Impact


Cargill Environmental Markets is a critical support in enabler to Cargill's business meeting their sustainability commitments, including capturing value from sustainability with our customers.

South America and in particular Brazil, is a key sourcing region for all of Cargill businesses, and Brazil is also center of the Protect Manage and Restore (PMR) corporate sustainability initiative.

This role will be an integral part of the Environmental Markets global team and will work closely with businesses' sustainability teams, the PMR team as well as with Global Impact to identify strong potential projects and drive them from concepts to tangible results in terms of number of projects and their commercial value.

In this role.

you will serve as the critical local link between SA commercial, sustainability and PMR teams and CEM, working across all Cargill enterprises to ensure that we work effectively across these different teams in meeting Cargill sustainability and value creation goals.

Work closely with SA businesses' commercial and sustainability teams to support their key priorities by identifying and developing potential projects that yield environmental outcomes that will meet sustainability and commercialization targets.

Provide guidance to local teams on technical aspects that need to be included in projects and programs in order to meet Cargill and customer commitments.

Communicate developments between CEM and local teams to ensure alignment on project objectives, status, next steps and accountabilities.

Provide thought leadership on the project topics and work with limited direction, using additional research and external resources where needed to inform project design and execution.

You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
Conduct feasibility assessments and oversee the implementation of the specific commercial activity aligned to the related business plan.
Foster strong relationships between the organization and critical internal/external partners to guarantee a successful launch and project commitment.
Independently handle complex issues with mínimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Proven and Solid related work experience
Project Management experience
Advanced English Skill is requerid

PRIOR BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCES
Experience in project or program management.
Experience managing customer relationships.
Experience in the development of processes as it relates to sustainability.
