Descrição
Zipdev is looking for a Java Developer who has worked with APIs, and knows Spring Boot; to work with one of our clients.
They are a digital marketing company in the home service space looking to expand our team into development. They've recently hired a senior developer and want to add someone to their team.What you'll do:
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code based on best practices.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.
- Integrate thirdparty services and APIs, and develop RESTful services as required.
- Assist in maintaining code quality, organization, and automation.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies within the Java ecosystem.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high development standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
- Engage in educational opportunities to update job knowledge and technical skills.
- 15minute Initial Call
- 20minute takehome skills test
- 30minute Call with Recruiter (project, benefits, etc.)
- Interviews directly with the client (depending on the project the # of interviews may vary, this may include a code assessment)

Requirements:
- Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years as a Java Developer
- Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems.
- Solid understanding of objectoriented programming.
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
- Skill for writing reusable Java libraries.
- Knowledge of concurrency patterns in Java.
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Handson experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience with API design and development.
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Problemsolving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, not afraid to ask questions and take ownership of a project.
- Excellent English communication skills
- Currently living in Latin America.
