We are looking for a young professional to join our dynamic team as a Credit and Surety Portfolio Intern

About the Role:

You will contribute to the analysis of the credit and surety portfolio, both from risk and profitability views using internal and external data, as well as contributing to make underwriting more efficient.
In this unique opportunity you will help to deliver and produce strategic information to main stakeholders through data analysis of real portfolios, relate economic developments to the market performance and investigate trends to ensure a sustainable profitability.
It is also an exceptional opportunity to acquire knowledge into credit portfolio management, linking insurance and banking.

About the Team:

The Credit Portfolio Steering team reports directly to the Global Head of Credit & Surety (C&S) Corporate Solutions and Global Head of Actuarial Portfolio Management.

C&S provides credit risk-based insurance solutions to banks and corporates in the areas of Trade, Commodity & Project Finance, Surety, Political Risk Insurance and Trade Credit Insurance.

_We are responsible of providing the framework to portfolio owners to ensure proper steering, distribute capacity among the different teams in accordance to the Target Liability Portfolio, monitoring evolution of the portfolio from profitability & risk views and to ensure adherence to aggregate limits and lead the data transformation in the C&S team.

Who are we looking for?

Students of Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or related courses;
Expecting to graduate in 2025 or 2026;
Contributive mindset, excellent communication skills, datadriven profile and ability to develop effective working relations in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
Must Have:_
Proficiency knowledge of MS Tools and programming skills.
Advanced/Fluent English is mandatory.
Independent thinking, thirst for knowledge, business curiosity an ambition to develop.
Availability to work in a hybrid job model

Nice to have:

Knowledge of SQL, PySpark or Python.
Familiarity with Agile methodology
Knowledge in insurance or Banking
