ICC's case management team in Brazil is looking for a dispute resolution intern for a presential vacancy in the São Paulo office lasting six months.

ICC's case management team in Brazil is looking for a dispute resolution intern for a presential vacancy in the São Paulo office lasting six months.

The role

Tasks include:

• Read and draft documents related to arbitration cases in English
• Legal research and read legal documents in English and one of the languages listed below
• Translation of legal documents
• Ad hoc assignments as requested by the teams and the services of the Secretariat to which the intern may be assigned

Requirements:

• Preference will be given to students with prior arbitration academic experience.
• Fluent English is a requirement.

Duration: 6 months

• A short CV (onepage maximum focusing on the experience relevant to the Internship) and indicating your current studies (with expected graduation date).
• A cover letter (no model provided), describing in a detailed way which arbitration classes you followed and your first professional experience(s) in relation to arbitration.
• Two referees' names with their respective contact details (if possible one academic referee and one professional referee who supervised you directly)
• An academic writing sample in English ( e.g. submitted paper during university studies)

The duration of the internship is of six months and may be extended.

Principais tarefas:

• Analisar e preparar minutas iniciais de documentos relacionados a procedimentos arbitrais em inglês e português
• Realizar pesquisas relacionadas a procedimentos arbitrais em inglês e português
• Tradução de documentos relacionados a procedimentos arbitrais em inglês e português
• Tarefas variadas solicitadas pela equipe da Secretaria

Qualificação:

• Estar cursando Direito, preferencialmente a partir do 3° semestre
• Inglês fluente
• Experiência acadêmica com temas relacionados a arbitragem será considerado diferencial

Processo seletivo:

As inscrições deverão incluir um breve currículo (de no máximo uma página, descrevendo a experiência relevante para o estágio) bem como data prevista para conclusão da graduação em Direito.

A duração do estágio é de seis meses com possibilidade de extensão.
