This role provides general legal advice and support to the country on a wide range of legal activities.

The role is expected to act as a trusted business partner, anticipate and manage the legal risks connected with or resulting from the business strategy and operations, securing compliance of business operations with relevant laws and regulations.


Your Responsibilities:

This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:

  • Provide legal analysis and advice on legal, policy, compliance, transactional, commercial and market access among others, integrating legal knowledge with deep business understanding.
  • Anticipate and proactively support the prevention and management of legal risks.
  • Draft, develop, prepare, negotiate and execute contracts and other legal documents.
  • Review business, scientific, commercial, and sales/marketing documents/communications and advise on appropriate strategy/language to manage risk while maximizing business benefit.
  • Review and interpret pending or new legislation or regulatory rules impacting the business to ensure compliance or strategy changes.
  • Liaise with other departments (e.g. Compliance, Audit and Assurance, Business Development etc.) in coordinating council to ensure the integration of the full range of considerations impacting legal recommendations.
  • Educate client businesses on sound legal practices and new developments impacting the business.
  • Participate in or lead special projects furthering development and embedding of best practices or expanded legal knowledge.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals:

  • Legal Bachelor's degree;
  • Strong experience on the Legal Department playing as a Legal Business Partner;
  • Ability to work in culturally diverse teams and reconcile cultural differences to successfully deliver services;
  • Able to manage conflicts and ability to lead critical discussions.
  • Fluent English

Preferred Qualifications:

However, if you have the following, it would be a plus:

  • Post Graduation related to Public Legal Matters or Master of Business Administration (MBA);
  • Solid experience in pharmaceutical and/or health care industry.
  • Advanced Spanish.
