About the area and Project:

Day to day responsibilities:

You will be responsible for designing, and executing handset certification processes to make sure all major manufacturers' phones have a seamless experience on our network at launch.

Define what VAS and network features require certifications with which OEM firmware/OS, and build the roadmap to engage with each manufacturer.
Play a key SME role to enable carrier bundle services for major ODMs
Define and test configurations to allow for configuration of VAS services over the air.
Identify and implement new innovative process improvements and automation opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Work closely with the hardware engineering and the software development team to identify and determine the rootcause of SIM cardrelated issues.
Support crossorganization programs to reduce operational costs through innovation and automation
Document and manage the issue resolution process, with multifunctional teams, from identification to implementation validation and improvement with partners and 3rd parties.

Mandatory technical requirements:

You are a technical expert who has both industry experience including GSMA programs and initiatives, as well as hands-on practical system experience with handset configuration and certification testing processes at MNO/MVNO's.

Draft test case development for evolving wireless devices and services.
Expert knowledge of GSMA's TS.32 framework and its interdependence on device certification.
35 years experience in handset testing and certification for Samsung and Apple devices.
35 years of experience working in deploying, operating and troubleshooting Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms/solutions to automate OTA configurations and reporting, etc.
Good understanding of SIM OTA processes and interdependence on device behaviors
Good understanding of UICC and eUICC standards and configurations.
