What you'll do:


As the Labor Relations Director, you will be responsible for the management and definition of medium and long-term strategies for the area of labor relations, taking charge governance of related policies, disciplinary procedures and provisions and union relations at Electrolux Latin America.

In detail, you will:

  • Develop and implement mid and longterm strategies for Electrolux's labor relations area in Latin America, identifying potential risks and elaborating action plans for mitigation of said risks;
  • Manage development, updates and governance of policies, guidelines and procedures related to labor relations for the region;
  • Provide strategic advice to management and employees on the various disciplines related to legislation and labor relations, in order to minimize legal risks;
  • Develop and lead negotiation strategies and processes in order to ensure favorable outcomes for the organization by participating in collective bargaining, contract renewals, and disputes with unions;
  • Monitor and analyze workrelated metrics and trends to identify areas of concern and propose proactive measures;
  • Lead the labor relations team in different Electrolux units in other Latin American countries.
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).


Who you are:


You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, or related fields (MBA in related areas is a plus);
  • Extensive experience with management of the Labor Relations area in Latin America, with consolidated experience with labor law, union negotiations and labor relations;
  • Solid experience with negotiating collective agreements and handling complex cases within the labor relations area;
  • Experience with management and systemic knowledge of Human Resources areas (e.g. Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, HRSS, Rewards and Benefits, Talent Management);
  • Experience with team management;
  • Experience with project management;
  • Advanced English;
  • Advanced Spanish.

Where you'll be:
You will be based at the Curitiba administrative office.

Located in Prado Velho, it is a new Electrolux location designed from the start to allow for more efficient, connected and flexible collaboration between Electrolux's support teams.

It will be necessary to have availability to live in Curitiba.
