What you'll do:

Drives purchasing practices to assigned commodity management and applies strong knowledge to ensure products meet quality, delivery, and specification requirements at the lowest possible costs.

Identifies new suppliers (internal and external), negotiate price, align strategy with global commodities leaders, analyze trends, and expedites orders within functional area of responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

A.

Negotiations with internal and external suppliers; problem solves and settles disputes; develop win-win resolutions, and creates positive relations with tact, diplomacy, and appropriate judgment for the function.

B. Manage supplier base seeking for the best solution related to Cost, quality and delivery.

C. Prepares reports and other correspondence for use by Eaton SCM professionals.

D. Deep dive on Commodity Strategy considering strategy reviews, goals definitions and action implementation to assure expected performance.

E. Lead Cost Out projects implementation interfacing with other operational and functional areas.

F. Capex control for commodities under responsibility.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or other degree related to area
Experience in procurement area in automotive industry
Experience with direct purchases
Experience with commodity purchases (Forgings, Mechanical Assemblies, Chemicals, Synchronizer components, Powder Metal, Engineering Polymers, Stampings, Machined Parts, Fasteners, Bearings)
Advanced English for conversationo
Experience on negotiation and development with global suppliers
Drive for results, change & adaptability and leveraging resources

Fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish is desirable;
