Marine Intern Plan Approval to join its office in
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil within the Marine Americas Region Division.

Mission:

RINA is currently recruiting for a
Naval Architect and Marine Engineer Inter to join its office in
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil within the Plan Approval Division.

Responsibilities:

Main tasks:

Development of engineering studies and analyses for vessels
Engineering Activities and Calculation by means of dedicated software (FEM, Hydrodynamics)
Review and analysis of engineering documents; verification of compliance with project requirements and applicable codes and standards; design appraisal and certification
Cooperating in the preparation of technical papers, rules and guidelines
Supporting the activities as member of the team
Reporting and summarizing the assigned projects

Requirements:

Studying Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering, or equivalent
Technical understanding and basic familiarity with Class Rules, International Conventions/Standards
Good communication skills
Good knowledge and use of the PC and the mostly used commercial software
Good knowledge of both spoken and written technical English
Availability to work 30 hours/week from Monday to Friday
