Job Description:


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • To be connected to future technology needs from industries X.0
  • Lead digital transformation on focus accounts
  • Close gaps and understandings among industry (needs/trends) and Rockwell Organization (Sales / Business Units / Marketing / OEMs / EPCs / Channels).
  • To Seek, Gather, Refine & Update Market Data
  • Analyze and identify industry Trends and identify key drivers and initiatives, as well as identify gaps and opportunities in the market
  • Participate in Industry Forums to learn/educate industry trends & Strength Network
  • Participate in Industry Associations to gather industry intelligence & Strength Network
  • Support Launches/Deployments of Initiatives / Segment, Products and Technology.
  • Develop Regular Cadence of BU Engagement on key accounts, opportunities, and initiatives
  • Support development of Strategic Business Partners
  • Capture, Document and Prioritize Product Gaps with the Business Units
  • Drive demand generation activities and initiatives beyond Account Managers action
  • Collaborate in Strategy Planning with local and regional resources. Tropicalize/Land regional strategy execution towards the country/region of responsibility
  • Business Review Process (Conversion Progress, Industry Segment Performance). Review & digest Country Report to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Tag & follow key customer opportunities where consultant involvement is required
  • Top / Target Accounts strategy development support
  • Industry Digital Advisor
  • Improve Linkage to Key Global Accounts. Cascade global account initiatives to local accounts. Participate in Account Planning for selected target accounts
  • Develop references and use cases of our entire portfolio, products, solutions and services; specific to the represented industry
  • Drive team focus on market development, conversion opportunities, planning and implementation of product launches and promotions
  • Provide critical input back to the product business unit.
  • Develop extensive knowledge for own and team of competitive products and marketing activities.
  • Participate in exhibitions and seminars.
  • Collaborate with other consultant teams to leverage best practices. As the component consultant team leader, you'll be targeting the business growth for panel shops, OEM's, System Integrator and endusers.
  • Collaborate as a business/consultant. Get with the customer what are the main bottlenecks and what is the financial impact.
  • Help customer to quantify gains of any project / any improvement.
  • Help customer to justify projects.
  • Help customer's midmanagement to "sell" projects to upper management/Clevel.
  • Help Sales Sructure and BU's to offer exactly what will help to achieve customer's objectives.
  • Capacity to explain in simple terms the benefits of our architectures. Even for decision makers with zero technical/automation knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong industry background in automation form process and power.
  • A minimum of 10 years of work experience as industry consultant
  • Fluency with native language and strong command of English (written & spoken).
  • Ability to work with and gain confidence of senior level personnel (internal and external) in a highly collaborative, matrixed stakeholder organization.
  • Ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Ability to align and influence critical stakeholders.
  • Experience with driving business through distribution channel and relationship building is required.
  • Strong supporter of our customer centricity. Understands the importance of demonstrating concern for satisfying customers. Passionate about developing goals to improve our customer experience.
  • Ability to present solutions with financial justification
  • Ability to influence, empower, coach, and motivate others.
  • Ability to adapt communication style and messaging to different audiences.
  • Instill an energetic and enthusiastic response in their team towards achieving company goals and priorities and encouraging their commitment and support.
