About the role This role will report into the Embecta Director of International IT, with a functional reporting line to the LATAM regional leader.

As embecta separates from BD, identifying the Information Technology entanglements, interdependencies and ensuring a seamless transition will be critical. In parallel, Embecta will need develop its own Information Technology organization, strategy and roadmap.

The LATAM IT leader will be an integral member of the International IT leadership team and of the LATAM leadership team charged with developing and executing a five-year strategy to enable embecta to separate quickly and grow on its own as an independent public company.


Main Responsibilities:

Accountable as the IT leader for the LATAM region (Brazil, Mexico, Central America & Caribbean, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia) Integrate IT with business strategy as a member of the LATAM leadership team.

Collaborate with the IT Solution Delivery, Infrastructure Operations, Security, and Analytics teams to implement global IT solutions and address regional needs.

Work in conjunction with IT end user services and Workplace services to deliver an exceptional and consistent user experience through implementation of productivity technology, analytics, and service delivery that is appropriate to Embecta scale and focused on what matters to users.

Work in conjunction with the Embecta IT & Shared Services Business Office to align programs and projects to expedite exit of Transitional Services Agreements (TSA) with BD.

Scope, sequence, and track/monitor regional IT projects. Drive change management and communications associated with process and technology implementations to maximize user adoption.

Requirements:

Degree: BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline required Project management certification preferred Training / certification in Six Sigma and/or Lean highly desirable Solid experience of IT operational leadership experience.

Previous experience managing third-party consultants and service providers Must have experience working with global multi-cultural teams ERP implementation experience (SAP experience preferred) Experience with project-based resource allocation Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies Experience working with a variety of third-party technical & process organizations to achieve business goals Understanding of IT finance and accounting principles Excellent presentation and communication skills Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities Fluent in English and Portuguese.

Spanish highly desirable. Able to travel internationally up to 20%
