We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our Finance group in LATAM.

The Financial Manager is a key position within Corporate Finance and will manage the major accounting and reporting activities for our subsidiaries in Brazil and Colombia.


Responsibilities:


Accounting activity:


  • Review transactions from accounting system;
  • Review trial balance and collaborate with external accountant to correct any errors;
  • Perform month/quarter/yearend closing tasks;
  • Review commercial agreements;
  • Perform tax related tasks:
  • Review and validate calculation of taxes, edition of payment documents made by external accountant
  • Review and validate monthly/quarterly/yearly fiscal statements
  • Review and validate monthly fiscal ledgers : ISS ledger, ICMS ledger, IPI ledger
  • Review and validate DIPJ statement (Corporate Tax statement,
  • Review and validate DIRF statement (declaration of taxes withheld)

Manage company cash-flow and payments (vendors/employees/taxes):

  • Payments to vendors
  • Payments taxes
  • Employees payroll
  • Employees travel expenses

Reporting activity:


  • Prepare financial reports for OSF Group management:
  • Monthly edition of P&L, Balance Sheet, Aging report, Intercompany transactions report
  • Annual financial statements (P&L and balance sheet)
  • Actual Budgets (filling and review )
  • Cashflow forecast report
  • On demand reports for OSF Group management

Payroll activity:


  • Review calculation of salaries, social charges and payslips
  • Manage social HR obligations
  • Prepare internal salaries costs report for OSF Group management

Accounts receivables activity:


  • Review the invoices to the customers and AR management
  • Manage billing process

Manage local finance team

Implement new tools to improve efficiency

Create new procedure / implement new processes

Different local finance / administrative tasks: manage assets purchases (computers etc)

Requirements:


  • More than 7 years in accounting performing all related tasks
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Advanced English
  • Solid experience in coordinating accounting activities and managing reporting, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
