Job Description:
A Competitive Intelligence Analyst is responsible for understanding and analyzing competitors strategiestactics, solutions offered, product features, price points, and strengthsweaknesses.
Collect, review, synthesize, and communicate competitive intelligence information by identifying key facts and patterns, making correct inferences, and presenting major findings on competitors39; productsservices, strengthsweaknesses, strategic direction, etc.
Knowledge of key competitors offering missioncritical PTT solutions
Solid understanding of public safety purchasing criteria
Ability to quickly identify Motorola Solutions competitive strengths and weaknesses and those of competitors and then quickly turn competitive insights into easytounderstand documents
Ability to provide actionable information that will help sales and product teams differentiate our value to customers
Support sales with specific projects and opportunities, such as providing bid pricing and competitive positioning recommendations
Ability to learn new technologies and markets quickly
Proactively identify key nontraditional threats and new market opportunities
Ability to focus on details as well as the bigger picture
Collaborative approach to teaming across international boundaries and navigating crosscultural differences
Basic Requirements
Bachelors degree, preferably in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or Information Systems
543; years of experience in Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, or Communications in telecom industry
Strong knowledge of LMR technologies especially P25 and TETRA and broadband PTT
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence
Excellent project management skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams independently
Team player who works well crossfunctionally with others at all levels of the organization
Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting
Experience in a fastpaced team environment and comfortable in ambiguous and rapidly evolving situations
Able to structure complex problems in simple, easytounderstand ways
