Thomson Reuters is looking for a Scrum Master to coordinate and coach our software development and tax solution migration team.


About the Role

  • Manage a huge project development and migration scope and timeline, for big corporations and companies.
  • Plan and facilitate sprint ceremonies including planning, refinement, demo, retrospective, and daily standup meetings
  • Guide, coach and motivate the team to be highly effective, selforganized, productive and accountable, with an emphasis on achieving sprint commitments
  • Partner with product owner/product manager to effectively create, maintain and refine the product backlog
  • Facilitate communication channels for the Scrum/Kanban teams and associated business and technical stakeholders to ensure the vision, goals, progress and product delivery commitments are visible and well understood
  • Identify and remove impediments and blockers that prevents the teams from delivering their sprint goals
  • Teach, mentor, and facilitate Scrum and Kanban practices within the team as well as Agile Values and Principles
  • Manage the team dependencies and coordinate work with other internal or external teams
  • Set and continually manage expectations with team members and other stakeholders Monitor progress and team performance throughout the life of the project and monitor and manage project scope and deliverables
  • Maintain relevant metrics and information radiators to guide the development teams and show their progress in meeting business objectives
  • Manage a huge program including development and migration scope, for big corporations and companies.

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree or diploma
  • Demonstrable 35 years handson experienced with Scrum and Kanban methodologies
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability work with a mentor and servantleader mindset Former experience as a project manager and knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand team needs
  • Experience providing facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, team empowerment and motivational techniques regarding Agile and Scrum/Kanban
  • Must be a certified Scrum Master, holding either a PSM or CSM
  • Experience managing expectations and building trusting relationships/partnerships
  • Ability to balance several projects across more than one team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
