Job Description:


  • Attend and participate in all Global/Regional Council Meetings.
  • Collaborate with IT, MO, and engineering teams to develop an understanding of needs
  • Research and devise innovative hardware/software to leverage data for analysis
  • Develop with suppliers' gateways/interface to get data from legacy equipment
  • Update/Create lists of all kinds of industrial devices capable to provide meaningful data
  • Configure / Onboard industrial devices capable to generate data to upper systems
  • Develop and maintain PLC code from many brands (Rockwell, Siemens, Fanuc) to provide data to upper systems
  • Collaborate for creation of new STS/TIS procedures for Manufacturing Operations teams
  • Coordinate and support implementation of new devices or functionalities into the upper system
  • Acquire knowledge about manufacturing process and main KPIs
  • Define and support proof of concepts using data lake and real data from devices
  • Report and support system Issues and bugs with business and IT teams
  • Report device/functionality progress implementation
  • Report and address health check issues
  • Worksharing and collaboration with other regional teams like GMTCI and GMNA
  • Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
  • Use machine learning tools to select features, create and optimize classifiers
  • Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
  • Enhance data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems
  • Process, clean, and validate the integrity of data to be used for analysis
  • Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
  • Improve business processes by using analytics for meaningful insights
  • Build predictive models and machinelearning algorithms
  • Combine models through ensemble modeling
  • Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
  • Collaborate with plant team, IT, and analytics community to capture, prioritize, and document data analytic requirements and drive measurable results.
  • Pull data using existing reporting tools, analyze, perform testing, and validate the results.
  • Determine the meaning of data and explain how various teams and leaders can leverage it to improve and streamline their processes.
  • Develop proof of concept to solve complex manufacturing problems.
  • Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
that drive business impact.

  • Monitor Device Level Analytics system health, report and follow up with responsible teams.
  • Write user stories and framework for IT development team to implement POC and solutions developed.
  • Present complex information using data visualization techniques.
  • Provide training and guidance to business partners focused on data analysis methodology reporting and tools.

Additional Job Description:


Required Degree:
Bachelors' Degree in Engineering (Automation & Controls, Electrical, Electronic or Computer), Computer Science or Related Field


Working Experience:
Desirable previous work in automotive industry.


Knowledge:
Production process, Rockwell PLC programming software and production data analysis (mandatory)


Language:
Good listening, reading, and speaking in English (Intermediate Level Mandatory)


Software:
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) / Rockwell Studio / Siemens TIA / Python / SQL / Power BI (mandatory)


Other Skills:
Demonstrate initiative and creativity to improve area results, going beyond the assigned work; Communications Skills; Negotiation Skills.


Availability for local and international business travel (mandatory).

Must be available to work on weekends and holidays (mandatory).
