GET TO KNOW OUR AREA:

Commercial Excellence is part of the Marketing Organization, within Crop Science.

With a Latam scope, in general terms we are responsible for Market Intelligence, Pricing Excellence and Customer Experience & Engagement.

As our main objectives, drive the digital transformation of our commercial organization (marketing, sales and market development) and bring insights, processes and tools that will create real value to our customers and internal teams.


YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:

Main Purpose


By collecting and analyzing data about the markets in which we operate, provide to internal teams relevant and timely market insights, supporting a better decision making in regional, country and local levels.

Monitor market trends and competitors moves, providing inputs needed in strategy steering. Ensure automatization of processes regarding market data (master data, artificial intelligence, open innovation, etc).

Lead a team of senior market intelligence experts, with distinct roles related to perform and transform, allocated in different countries across the region.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Conduct standard market research and competitor analysis for key crops and markets and transfer the insights internally.
  • Generate market analysis, including trends, opportunities, real time insights, scenarios and risk assessments and provide reports to other internal teams.
  • Ensure maintenance and regular updating of market database.
  • Support internal processes with market knowledge and information: OPC, Forecast, etc.
  • Generate timely insights through standard dashboards (e.g., IA imports, buying behavior, market pace along the season, market opportunities, etc.) and feedback to sales and customer marketing to support decision making at crop and business levels.
  • Develop and implement competitor monitoring / analysis within the region and ensure actionable reports to be delivered to regional and country marketers, in order to capture short term opportunities.
  • Leverage BI methodologies and tools, including the adoption of breakthrough process and technologies like algorithms and Artificial Intelligence (AI), in order to increase data availability within the organization and reduce costs and time to perform manual analysis.
  • Define and manage regional suppliers for market and customer surveys.
  • Drive regional standards whenever possible.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?

  • University degree (Master or equivalent).
  • Solid background in Market Intelligence, with proven experience in agribusiness companies.
  • Ability to translate data into information and insights through modern technologies.
  • Solid leadership skills.
  • Provide leadership in establishing strategic direction using business acumen and by translating key data into business decisions.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills of innovation management.
  • Strong analytical mindset and skills.
  • Experience interfacing with global and regional organizations.
  • Mandatory: Fluent in Portuguese AND English (Excellent communication skills and proficiency).
  • Spanish is desirable.
  • Location: Brazil (São Paulo, SP).
  • Mandatory: Availability to work in a hybrid way (going to the office 50% of the time, on average).
  • Availability for national and international travel (15% of the time).
