Job Profile / Activities:

Incumbent will provide expertise on complex business, financial or managerial issues within a business unit or corporate environment.

Specific areas of responsibility could include but are not limited to:


  • Conduct US GAAP technical accounting research on various topics, summarize results and propose recommendations
  • Provide leadership for various complex US GAAP and SEC reporting matters
  • Collaborate with business partners and leaders from accounting and nonaccounting disciplines to analyze business issues
  • Provide leadership for 6 Sigma deep dives
  • Support local Brazil statutory reporting

Basic Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CRC is also required.


Experience:6-8 years of accounting experience in related area


Language:
Pre advanced English communication skills, both technical writing and speaking


Travel:
Not required


Behavioral skills:
Drive For Results, Trusted Advisor, and Business Acumen.

Must demonstrate high levels of initiative, leadership, good judgment, the ability to communicate effectively, a broad understanding of accounting business processes, process improvement.


Work time/Shift:
Administrative hours
