Ensure all the accounting transactions are recorded timely and accurately with a high standard of supporting documentation.

Supervise the accounting entries performed by other team members and performs accounting entries such as accruals, deferrals and reclassifications as needed to ensure compliance with USGAAP, local GAAP and tax requirements.

Responsible for accounting and reporting procedures.

Review, submit and explain the trial balance of the company and identify and comply with different reporting requirements based on US GAAP and local GAAP.

Prepare financial statements in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with the Brazilian regulations and following the Company's Global Accounting Policy.

Prepare month-end and management reports.
Certify that all balancesheet accounts are reconciled each month.
Perform monthly balancesheet reviews, document unreconciled differences and ensure outstanding differences are resolved and adjusted.

Prepare and report accounts receivable aging, calculate the past due percentage, bad debt reserve and propose collection initiatives to improve DSO.

Ensure compliance with all the tax regulations working with the tax assistant to complete and submit timely and accurately all the tax forms required by the tax authorities.

Ensures duly accrual and payments of all the Brazilian social security items working with the HR coordinator and treasury
Solve and answer the internal and external audit requirements in a precise and timely manner.

Responsible for the company's transaction level detail, including signing as administrator, finance manager and accountant, to proceed with customer's agreement, and other responsibilities related with the company.

Responsible for all payroll - related activities. Review and monitor payroll issues and related returns processes are completed within timescales.
Provide support with initiatives to improve working capital management.
Ability to prepare detailed forecasts and budgets and analyze variances in working capital and Balance Sheet.
Identify process and control deficiencies and work with the Global Assistant Controller to implement and ensure Company's policies.
Assists with special projects as needed.
Daily cash flow monitoring/reporting and setting up electronic payments.
Daily payments approval.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including approving credit limits and terms.
Compliance with local authorities' requirements.
Create, maintain and update all finance procedures.
Identifying and making recommendations for process improvements.
Advise the business on processes impacting Finance and assist in monitoring and reinforcing compliance.
Responsible for policy deployment related finance and accounting matters.
Responsible for Subsidiary policy management.
Oversight
SOX and policy compliance.
Provides accounting assistance to project managers and operations staff; responds to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs.
Guide the accounting team on the best practices and lead for a high-performance team.
Team development.


Required Experience:


Superior Completo:
Accounting and/or Finance areas


Pós Graduação:
Finance and/or Business Management (desejável)


Tempo de Experiência:
de 6 a 7 anos: Leading Finance & Accounting process/people.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Leadership roles in the Accounting/Financial field.
Experience with multinational companies, minimum 5 years.
Familiar with generally accepted accounting principles, US and local GAAP.

SOX
Tax calculations and payments on a monthly and annual basis.
Experience in ERP implementation.
