The Brazil Tax team is building to work with other corporate functions on tax advisory, planning, structuring, and tax controversy.

We ensure compliance with direct (corporate income tax) and indirect tax and solve tax related issues.

Position Summary:

Responsibilities:

Analyze business models and identify areas for tax assessment;
Collaborate with inhouse tax teams and coordinate external resources to develop actionable tax solutions for new ecommerce products, features and operational events launched in Brazil
Take and respond to tax queries from business teams as Tax Point of Contact
Periodically review existing tax solutions and identify opportunities for improvement
Monitor changes and updates of tax legislation, identify the potential impact on business operations, and prepare teams for the challenge in advance
Support business teams to understand and comply with tax compliance requirements through trainings

Qualifications:

8 years or more of Brazil tax experience, including inhouse experience preferably at an ecommerce or digital marketplace company, or Big 4 firm experience
Strong communication and documentation skills in a crossfunctional and multicultural environment.
Ability to set appropriate priorities when multitasking, and deliver to a high standard at pace
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
