_ABOUT THE ROLE &


TEAM:
_


  • As a _
    _Senior Analyst Accounting Operations__, you will be responsible for completing a range of financial activities and tasks resulting in the presentation of financial and management reports. These activities will include analytical support to management and delivering key analysis of the financial and operational performance on a continuous basis and the review and interpretation of transactions and events in order to assist the business in making sound commercial and economic decisions._

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
_

- _Review and reconcile the monthly local books suspense account, balance sheet accounts and ensure accounts are clean with justifiable balances,_
- _Prepare local books month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting for areas of responsibility including delivering explanations on all balances and ensure follow up on outstanding balances taking corrective action in the following month,_
- _Prepares and maintains accounting reconciliations (Drive accounting GAAPs between corporate and statutory accounting standards, if any.),_
- _Prepare the calculation of direct and indirect taxes (Pis, Cofins, ISS), Withheld Taxes (IRRF, PCC, ISS and INSS) and prepare the payment slips, accessory obligations (DIRF, DCTF) and census reports (e.g. IBGE), and others applicable according to local legislation _
- _Cooperate with external provider on annual Corporate Income Tax preparation (e.g. providing the right input data),_
- _Prepare information required for external audit (tax audits) and internal audit as directed,_
- _Keeping the relationship with RFB, Sefaz and Municipalities,_
- _Keep the tax clearance certificates updated for bid purposes,_
- _Complete activities relating to departmental project initiatives._


Qualifications:


_


EXPERIENCE:
_

- _University Degree in Accounting and Finance,_
- _Professional accounting qualification (e.g. Certified Public Accountant, Association of Chartered Accountants, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, CRC),_
- _3-5 years work experience in an accounting environment preferably within a medium to large international company with a matrix business structure,_
- _Ability to write and speak English (at least B2 level),_
- _Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas, etc.),_

NICE-TO-HAVE:_**- _ Advanced Spanish_
- _ Experience using ERP platform (ideally Oracle, TOVTs)_
