What is the job?:

• Product Management is one of the most critical roles in the company. You'll be helping drive the product roadmap, managing the innovative projects that give us our competitive edge and grow our success. You'll be working with a global Product/Engineering team that includes members in New York, São Paulo, Brasília, Italy, Spain, Ireland, and more. It's a chance to make a difference in learners' lives around the world, while gaining mastery over a sophisticated and complex system. And there's plenty of room for growth in the future.

You'll be managing the full lifecycles of features and improvements in an area of Voxy's product, which includes:

• Analyzing and researching, looking at market trends, competitors, product best practices, interviewing partners, customers, and learners through a process of user-centric continuous discovery
• Weighing in on overall product strategy, direction, and roadmap
• Prioritizing projects, improvements, customer requests, bugs, and other items
• Identifying the most pertinent metrics and tracking to them
• Scoping and conceptualization, defining MVPs, and working with Engineering on estimates that balance tradeoffs between speed and quality
• Leading a crossfunctional pod of representatives from across the company to gather input and feedback, get buyin, and keep the company informed and excited
• Collaborating with Design on concepts, wireframes, user experience and highfidelity designs on both mobile and web platforms, including user testing prototypes
• Breaking up projects into phases, writing stories and acceptance criteria
• Working sidebyside (figuratively) with engineers to build it, tracking status and timelines
• Testing and release, including rollout plans and informing product marketing positioning
• After release, continuous tracking, gathering feedback, and iteration
• Keeping an eye out for ways to optimize and streamline process
• Taking some time off after all that

2+ years of experience working in product management:

• Someone who can communicate in clear, crisp, and subtle ways, who can translate technical information to others, and who can skillfully manage non-reports
• Someone detailoriented, not letting things slip through the cracks
• Ability to plan ahead and pretroubleshoot possible risks
• Knowledge and curiosity about emerging technologies
• Startup mindset ability to work fast, independently, and proactively
• English fluency, including excellent writing skills. All teamwide and companywide communication is in English, although Portuguese can be used with many individual team members

What else would be nice to have:

• Experience working with Agile processes, sprints, tickets, Jira, standups, retros, all that stuff
• Additional languages spoken, particularly Spanish
• Background or interest in EdTech, language learning, or education in general
• Experience with metrics and analytics platforms (we use Tableau)
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Experience developing integrations with thirdparty systems and tools using standard protocols like APIs or SAML
• Interest or experience in new ML technologies
