Job Profile / Activities:


The Supply Network Project Leader has the responsibility to drive Cost Reduction initiatives globally within Earth Moving Supply Management, by performing advanced analytical tasks, often of a confidential nature in support of the global supply network category management and/or site management.

Coordinate projects to support buyers & professionals related to Cost improvements projects.


This role is responsible and accountable for the analysis and maintenance of assigned processes that produce output excellence, build expertise for the assigned process area, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Includes the analysis and maintenance of procurement and logistics data including but not limited to:
purchase orders, quotations, invoices, source catalogs, supplier data/measurement, inventory mgmt, and engineered value chains.

  • Support the development and execution of Earthmoving's global cost initiatives
  • Embed and utilize various cost analysis processes including rapid improvement workshops, supplier and category deep dives, localization, quick win studies, etc to further develop, and sustain a lowcost, strategic Earthmoving supply base
  • Develop and execute long term cost strategy for Earthmoving to achieve best in class global cost structure while managing macroeconomic cost risks including, but not limited to commodities, inflation, logistics, and geopolitical volatility
  • Support internal customers including Product Groups, Category Teams, Supply Chain, Engineering, etc to execute EMD's OIA initiatives by achieving NPI cost targets as well as current production cost improvements

Basic Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree.


Experience:

  • 5 years of progressively responsible job-related experience (Procurement, Cost Reduction, Business Resources and/or 6Sigma Project Leadership).

Language:
Pre Advanced English

Excellent communication skills, Interpersonal skills and a collaborative work style, Works effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers at all levels, customer focus and advanced project management skills are required to collect, compile, assimilate, communicate, and maintain information as required, required to be able to prioritize work in a dynamic environment.
