Looking to join a global, diverse team and play a meaningful role in the travel industry by providing financial support to our partners in Latin America while helping Expedia Group grow? Join us In this Collector position you will collect outstanding amounts while maintaining a professional relationship with hotel suppliers and cooperates with Expedia Market Managers in different locations throughout Latin America.
We are looking for a highly motivated, goal-oriented individual with great language and negotiation skills, who carries a positive attitude towards challenges.
What you'll do:
- Make proactive and collections calls, send reminders to hotels regarding unpaid invoices
- Analyze, understand and avoid reasons why hotels do not pay
- Effectively cooperate with Market Managers in order to establish a strong market presence by collecting money while maintaining a phenomenal business relationship
- Be proactive in growing the number of accounts that pay using Expedia Group's automated payment methods
- Ability to work well with other departments including Cash Application, Supplier relations, Invoicing and Lodging Market Management
Who you are:
- Must be fluent in Spanish and English
- Portuguese and French a plus
- Solid understanding of basic programs including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent problemsolving, analytical and mathematical skills
- Positive attitude, goaloriented, detailoriented and organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
- Resilient, able to work in a fast paced and changing environment
