  • As a Litigation Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in managing litigation cases in Brazil, working closely with our team of consultants based in the country. Your responsibilities will encompass analyzing potential disputes, implementing litigation strategies, reviewing legal drafts, and representing the company in court when required. You will handle a significant caseload of monthly cases, collaborating with our consultants while taking the lead on several cases and representations.

Tasks and duties are to:


  • Analyze potential legal disputes and assess their viability for further action.
  • Develop and implement effective litigation strategies in coordination with the consultants.
  • Review and approve legal drafts prepared by the consultants.
  • Represent the company in court proceedings, focusing on cases in Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paulo.
  • Coordinate with external and internal specialists involved in court proceedings.
  • Prepare comprehensive sets of procedural documents for judicial proceedings, including those outside Brazil.
  • Provide legal opinions and analysis on various areas of law, considering relevant legislation and court practices.
  • Support enforcement proceedings and ensure compliance with court deadlines.
  • Handle administrative incidents with drivers and consumer protection cases.
  • Collaborate with the legal team and other departments to address challenging legal matters.

You will be a good fit for our team if you:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Litigation Lawyer, preferably in private practice or agencies.
  • Strong litigation background and experience handling diverse civil cases.
  • Proficient in English and Portuguese
  • Solid understanding of the Brazilian legal system and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and handle a significant caseload efficiently.
  • Basic understanding of IT and the ridehailing industry is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with criminal proceedings is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
