Position Title:

IS Functional Lead LATAM

Reports to Title:

IS Lead Mexico and LATAM

Summary:


They will lead the operations and functional teams to make sure the
IS team
IS delivering excellent IT services, modernizing our platform suite and enable the company growth.

On occasion, they will be asked to represent the
IS team in leadership forums and steer co meetings. They will be accountable to promote their team's growth, exposure and development via Career Development Plans and Talent Management.


Responsibilities:

Understand and demonstrate through models how the business processes support business and corporate strategies and objectives. The delivery of this solutions would be via internal teams or external teams.

Partner with other function's teams to ensure on time delivery of IT Solutions in region.

Business Relationship Management
  • Proactively engage business and shape demand, identify IT opportunities, facilitate matching business needs and IT solution options, work with local leadership to design and maintain the
    IS solution portfolio and service catalog.


Define the needed business cases with project team and process owner, defining business outcomes, including current baseline and future target metrics, such as leading and lagging indicators, and linking to strategic key performance indicators (KPIs).


Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects, solutions and capabilities that impact Hershey Mexico business.

Team Leader
  • Lead an internal team that delivers solutions on the commercial space. Develop Career Plans, assign goals, prioritize projects and initiatives and be the overall responsible for Technological solutions.


Work towards building a strong succession plan and create opportunities for lateral and vertical movements for key talent within their teams.

Manage budgets both on S&B and overall IT Costs. Manage and execute capital budget approved within country.


Skills and abilities required:


  • Proven experience as an IT Lead or similar role demonstrating the ability to:
  • Research emerging technologies to decide if installing them can increase the organization's efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Experience Managing Budget including operational, salaries and capital.
  • Oversee the installation and configuration of new systems to customize them for the organization.
  • Lead a team of 5+ people, including processes like Talent Management, Succession, and overall career advancement.
  • Record of implementing new ways of working within an organization.
  • Experience in project management
  • Understanding of CPG business practices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • Problemsolving aptitude
  • Availability to travel (when appropriate).

Experience:


  • Handson experience with process modeling, analysis and simulation tools.
  • 58 years' Experience working on projects using a variety of process redesign methods (such as business process reengineering, value chain analysis, lean manufacturing or total quality management).
  • Track record of working on projects that delivered different types of business outcomes: revenue growth and customer satisfaction, for example, not just process efficiency or cost reduction.
  • Business domain experience in the process areas being supported (nice to have).
  • Experience leading product teams.

Education:

B.S. degree (in science, engineering, or business), with related business discipline experience. M.B.A. or other advanced degree in business or social sciences is a plus.
