    Company Description

    Shuffle Up is a start-up online gaming and sportsbook operator based in Malta. We operate on our proprietary platform and cater to both B2B and B2C customers. With a solid industry background, we are set to launch our first jurisdiction in spring 2024, with several exciting launches planned throughout the year.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Data Engineer. As a Junior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for tasks such as data engineering, data modeling, ETL (Extract Transform Load), data warehousing, and data analytics. You will work closely with the data engineering team to support the development and maintenance of our data infrastructure and systems.

    Qualifications

    • MUST KNOW: Airflow and DBT
    • Data Engineering, Data Modeling, and ETL (Extract Transform Load) skills
    • Data Warehousing and Data Analytics skills
    • Experience in working with structured and unstructured data
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or SQL
    • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Ability to work independently and in a team
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
