The RMC Principal scientist will lead and manage a team of scientists responsible to globally qualify Fibers and Non-Woven/ Personal Hygiene raw materials, in partnership with RD and MS&T global partners, to support Global Consumer "Engineered" Products portfolio (Wound care, Feme care, Oral Care, Beauty & Baby wipes products).

The goal is to ensure business continuity through science, by handling new and alternate materials qualifications, supplier driven changes implementation and providing plant support to solve materials related issues.

This role also leads LATAM chemical portfolio management and new regional raw material qualifications.

Have strategic thinking to be the RMC representative on all demands and work to drive business grow.

The RMC Principal scientist be accountable to develop his team and contribute to build pipeline of future leaders to RD LATAM community in partnership with RMC LATAM leadership team.

Manage and coordinate low and high complexity projects with crossfunctional team and SMEs, report metrics, and interact with and/or lead crossfunctional teams to implement projects
Collaborate crossfunctionally with Operations, Quality Assurance, Research and Development (R&D), MS&T, Regulatory, Toxicology and other functional groups as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications

A minimum of bachelor's degree in industrial pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemistry Engineering, Biomedical science or related areas is required.
Experience on "engendered" products or personal hygiene raw materials will be considered a differential.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

Minimum of 6 years' experience in product development or related areas of Chemical Raw Material Industry is required.
Experience managing and executing technical projects.
Experience with consumer "engineered" products, like sanitary protection, wound care, wipes products or correlated areas is highly preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

Other:

Fluent English is required.
Good communication skills with different areas & team work. Write clearly and informatively. Build documents that are complete and accurate.
Ability to work crossfunctionally in a team environment while being an individual contributor
