What you will do:


As a Senior Business Controller within the SML South America organization, you act as a true business partner and finance specialist for the whole Service Market Operation, guiding and supporting business continuity and sustainable.


You provide thorough analysis, financial background and recommendations towards the management and the different networks to support strategic decisions and business development.

While doing so, you keep an ever-changing mindset, focused on the End-to-End view and customer success.


Your focus will be to:


  • Follow up, analyze, interpret, and perform the internal reporting of the financial results linked to the daily operations.
  • Plan, coordinate and follow up of the main financial processes (Estimates, Financial Closing, SCOS and inventory management) in an efficient and effective way.
  • Support the management and line organization by delivering relevant business and financial inputs, setting up the dialogue, making recommendations and challenging your stakeholders.
  • Participate in the Business review meetings with Commercial areas.
  • Translate the financial business objectives to engage all functional levels, by further developing and activating the financial knowledge throughout the teams.
  • Participate in projects and lead business case creation and continuous improvement activities.
  • Perform training & coaching on different levels linked to the different cost KPI's and processes.
  • Participate in local and global networks to ensure sharing of best practices.
  • Work crossfunctionally to ensure the E2E view in all activities, processes, projects.
  • Lead the digitalization journey in the business control team.
  • Plan, coordinate and follow up the investment process and actively collaborate with the operations to optimize.

Who are you?:


  • To be successful in your new role we want you have the following knowledge/experience:
  • University degree in appropriate academic qualification or equivalent experience
  • Extensive financial knowledge
  • You like have analytical skills.
  • You have a high problemsolving ability and are very customer oriented.
  • You are a team player and have the ability to build relationships and networks cross functionally.
  • You are reliable, accurate, proactive, and work autonomous.
  • Well organized and structured to give room for innovation and creativity.
  • You have effective communication skills, also in group discussions.
