We are currently seeking a Commercial Manager who will be at the center of our growth strategy in Brazil, focusing on Digital Ad Sales.

This position will be based in São Paulo. The Commercial Manager will report to and be supported by the Brazil Country Manager.


In this role, you will:


  • Coordinate new business deals in the Advertising side of the business for both performance and branding initiatives
  • Identify and develop new business relationships with digital agencies, direct clients and brands
  • Effectively run your own sales pipeline from the prospecting phase to the closing, bringing new advertisers to the company
  • Develop a commercial strategy for longterm sustained success
  • Boldly taking initiative to prospect new advertisers (digital ad sales)
  • Conduct calls and inperson meetings
  • Build and deliver compelling presentations and proposals with KAYAK's Ad products
  • Clearly communicate the progress of campaigns to clients and internal partners
  • Lead all aspects of commercial campaigns from the launch, progression, closing, and upselling
  • Work closely with the account management team to build and maintain successful relationships with clients, including ongoing consultation and support
  • Drive implementation of client plans across multiple teams and products
  • Identify gaps & enhance existing relationships in terms of revenue generation
  • Check localization issues and optimization of the local KAYAK site and work with our central IT, quality management, and marketing departments, to provide the best user experience possible
  • Work along with the local Commercial and Marketing teams to find opportunities for the Brazilian market
  • At least 5 years of proven experience commercializing digital products and Ad Sales.
  • Experience generating new business from sourcing to closing branding deals.
  • Proven experience in the online industry. Confirmed knowledge of online marketing metrics and tracking. Solid understanding of the online media industry (SEM, Display, Programmatic, Google Analytics, etc)
  • Deep knowledge of Brazil's online environment
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skill is a must including advanced Excel.
  • Native Portuguese speaker & English proficiency (verbal and written)
  • Knowledge of commercial and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage sophisticated, wideranging relationships
  • Consistent track record of exceeding expectations through outstanding account management
  • High performancedriven. Shown selfstarter with the ability to deliver on targets results
  • Ability to handle projects of varying size and scope simultaneously while prioritizing appropriately
  • Ability to effectively liaison with KAYAK team members
  • Good sense of humor. We are looking for an individual that likes working in an unstructured, fastpaced environment
  • BA/BS degree required, graduate degree preferred
