The role:

The Global Infrastructure & Operation Department (GIO) was created to enable high speed execution of the Group's IT transformation projects and to run global services.

GIO is part of the Air Liquide IT legal entity. It delivers infrastructure services to our BIS (Business Information System) customers world wide.

The Americas Hub team within GIO is responsible for ensuring the delivery of all GIO services to its customers across all the Americas (through the 3 Clusters : North America, Latin America, Airgas) and their respective Entities, encompassing more than 25,000 employees.

Within the GIO entity, Cloud Services in the Americas Hub covers the following activities : Demand Management, Virtualization, Service Delivery, Automation & Reliability and Cloud Engineering.

Within the Cloud Engineering, the Cloud Architect Americas designs, implements and continuously improves solutions and services in the public cloud that meet the strategic needs of the business within the Americas Hub.

Design and delivery of solution architecture involves working effectively with peer Architects and Solution Experts in the other Air Liquide Hubs (Europe, Middle East/Africa, & Asia).

Main assignments:

Deliver cost estimation for the proposed architectures
Challenge existing architectures to improve security, cost, resiliency, performance, reliability
Collaborate with Cloud experts in the other Air Liquide's Hubs to contribute to both the Americas and the Global Cloud Services roadmap construction and execution
Deploy services and solutions infrastructure in AWS using infrastructure as code with a strong emphasis on standardization and reusability, with strong focus in the Landing zone Services and SRE
Sites Reliability Remote Engineering, concepts
Collaborate closely with the Americas Cloud Services operations team to transition the delivered infrastructure and support the operations automation objective
Collaborate with other GIO service lines in the Americas (Security, Network, End-User services, processes and Continuous Improvement) to integrate the cloud infrastructure in the broader Air Liquide context and influence their roadmap towards a better cloud integration
Contribute to financial activities with delivery of data related to forecast of requirements
Supports quality service by promoting quality and customer service standards, analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems, and recommending system improvements.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
You will be part of an exceptional team moving the needle towards making containers as the next generation compute platform

Requirements:

Based in São Paulo with availability to work on a hybrid model 2/3 days per week on site
3 to 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure in large multinational companies
In depth knowledge of AWS products and services and 4 to 5 years of experience in designing, deploying and running AWS solutions in a complex environment from serverbased infrastructure to serverless
Knowledge and handson experience with the following concepts: AWS Landing Zone ; AWS multiaccount strategy ; AWS Wellarchitected framework
Conversant with Infrastructure as code, Continuous Integration, Delivery and Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools (GitLab, GitLab CI, Ansible, Packer, Python, CloudFormation, Shell, Powershell)
