Responsibilities:


What will you work on:
FP&A role is rapidly evolving, adding more responsibilities and requiring a whole set of innovative capabilities.

Traditionally a financial reporting scope, FP&A has moved towards a more strategic position whereas business knowledge, alongside deepen financial technical skills, are inexorably intertwined to meet the Company ́s ambitions.


Granular understating of the business (per Brand, Channel and Region - opposing Entity understanding), greater focus on long-term (i.e 5Y planning) and an integrated business planning (Cockpit and digital/automated tools) are some of the new requirements that are driving FP&A into a Finance of the Future role.


  • Facilitate the implementation of business analysis tools, driving overall financial process improvement.
  • Support the development and implementation of process improvements to the finance function to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and quality of output.
  • Responsible for coordination and consolidation of several financial processes, Forecast and Annual Budget.
  • Assist on an integrated planning process with clear communication and alignment to anchor accountability across the organization.
  • Partner with FP&A LatAm team and bridge sector requirements versus internal information. Responsible for external report, such as HFM upload and NOPBT CoC.
  • Support PepsiCo ́s finance team in overseeing PBF ́s financial performance and strategic goals thru:

Monitor business results and key KPIs across the BU by consolidating several different sets of information and aligning ways of work with the finance team.

Anticipate potential deviations vs. PY, Fcst and AOP and generate useful insights to properly manage the situation.

Understand causes of variation and provide executive diagnosis.

Support preparation of presentations to Senior Leaders (OU and LatAm) and Finance Team.

Support decision making by providing stakeholder with timely, detailed, and meaningful insights and visibility on business performance.

Participate in complex projects and provide several ad-hoc analyses.


Qualifications:
Who are we looking for?

  • Knowledge of Finance, Accounting, and Strategy.
  • Previous experience in FP&A, preferably in a FMCG company.
  • Knowledge of Office, specially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Communication skills with different levels (from analysts to VPs).
  • Strategic and critical mindset, alongside capacity to summarize complex problems.
  • Team player and crossfunctional collaboration.
  • Fluent English, Spanish desirable.
  • Emotional intelligence by dealing with multiple senior stakeholders and attending critical deadlines in a context of constant pressure.
