Role Description

  • Responsible by management of Digital Transformation (DT) service providers related to Application Delivery Department, accordingly the Global Purchasing Process policies.
  • Responsible for the governance of global Opex budget management supporting Application Delivery Department managers to execute it.
  • Support the Application Delivery leaders on the DT Global Process definitions.
  • Coordinate small DT Projects under supervision of Application Delivery leaders.
  • The role is mainly measured according to the budget accuracy and control, well succeeded small DT projects performed and DT services providers management according to RHI Magnesita compliance rules.

Main activities and responsibilities

  • Management of IT service providers contracts and suppliers' relationship involving:
  • RFI, RFQ & RFP preparation
  • Scouting of potential suppliers
  • Analysis and technical ranking of proposals
  • Monthly measurements approval and control
  • Invoices checking, approval and reception.
  • Periodic evaluation of suppliers and services
  • Budget management of packages and entities including:
  • Detailed budget preparation
  • Periodic analysis and monitoring of budgeted X actual values
  • Detailed budget projection (forecast)
  • Budget simulations
  • Adhoc reports and analysis
  • Opportunities and Savings evaluation, proposals and execution
  • Preproject feasibility analysis
  • Scope definition
  • Effort and costs estimation
  • Risk analysis
  • Purchase of development services
  • Support project team allocation with DT Application Delivery leaders
  • Task execution management
  • Scope, cost, and time monitoring
  • Change management and communication.
  • Global DT Process definitions and documentation including revisions and new features according to the support and development processes evolution.
  • Support methodology definitions, revisions and implementation.
  • Conduct and/or participate in workshops, training, and knowledge transfer sessions to be aware of the processes implemented.
  • Administrative tasks
- continuing education in own areas of expertise
- collect efforts and assign to tasks/projects (Time allocation)
- initiate/attend necessary coordination.

Key skills and capabilities

  • Bachelor's degree (University education)
  • Good knowledge of business process management methods
  • Good knowledge in project management
  • Basic knowledge in information architecture management
  • Basic knowledge in IT service management (e.g. ITIL)
  • Basic knowledge in IT risk management

Reporting Lines and Interfaces:


  • Report to Manager of Application Delivery Department.
  • Interfaces to DT Governance, Business Key users, Business Service Centers and Specialists in Application Delivery, and Digital Enablers.
