This new company formed by all these industrial sites, kaolin mine, port access and Hubs is foreseen to start its operation under a new brand on March 31th, 2023.

The revenue in 2021 was 400 million euros. It will offer mineral solutions for industries worldwide. All the sites are already working and producing. About 950 employees total.

Besides serving lots of the paper and board markets nowadays, this new company will use its global footprint, unique assets and longstanding know-how to develop new business opportunities and foster innovation.

Regarding employment, the Company needs to reinforce existing teams to operate as a standalone organization but also to meet its ambitious development plans.

Branding and name of the Company are currently defined and will be communicated largely very soon.

The Product Steward is responsible for achieving the company's Product Stewardship objectives. This position requires interaction with customers, suppliers, global government agencies and employees at all levels within the organization.

This role has overall responsibility for the product stewardship programs, ensuring that business objectives and

compliance requirements are met.

He/she supports the organization to contribute to business growth and sustainability regarding all aspects of product stewardship including product compliance, material and product safety, product footprint, and sustainable design.

Responsabilidades e atribuições

Ensure BA' Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and labeling accuracy, consistency and compliance with legal requirements in countries where products are sold.

Harmonize SDS authoring rules within the BA according to regulations and Imerys policy.

Proactively track and understand regulations impacting SDS impacting company products, communicating these to the necessary stakeholders in the business
Implement any nonstandard information, warnings and sentences within the SDS database.
Check site formulas are compliant with SDS information
Responsible for product safety communications to both external/internal customers.
Provide regulatory support to internal departments and external customers to ensure product compliance.
Ensure regulatory watch to maintain products in accordance with the regulations and directives applicable.
Support the development and implementation of Product Stewardship tools, processes according to group procedures and strategies. Including systems, processes, policies and best practicies.
Support in maintaining a consistent and comprehensive product stewardship program for products in the BA worldwide.
Identifies and monitors relevant local legislation, regulation and emerging long term and short term trends that may impact the company.
Works with the EH&S leader to analyze the potential impact, support in planning and executing an appropriate and timely business response.
Support in leading the business in identifying and managing product EH&S risks, vulnerabilities and opportunities.
Support in managing all aspects of product stewardship along the entire supply chain through regular interaction with relevant functional groups in the organization.
Act as liaison between businesses and Supply Chain/logistics to bring Product stewardship related issues to forefront, to ensure compliance with chemical management local regulations.
Reviews new raw materials for regulatory compliance.
Particapte in industry association Technical Bards, Working Groups and Committees as appropriate to leverage skills and knowledge of industry experts.

Requisitos e qualificações

English Mandatory:

Master's Degree in a relevant Scientific Discipline
Experience working in a regulatory role with product safety communication / SDS generation
Good expertise in regulations (GHS, CLP, ADR,...) related to safety communications in the region(s) served by the BA
Good understanding of chemical product regulations impacting HTS markets / products
Knowledge of system / tools used to provide product safety information and facilitate product regulatory compliance
Knowledge of REACH regulation
Proficient in interpreting scientific literature
