Responsibilities:


THE OPPORTUNITY

Strategy Senior Manager will be responsible for:
-
Strategic Deep Dive:


  • Annual strategic plan update, which includes our 5year objectives and the plan to reach those targets;
  • Lead a multifunctional team (finance, sales, operations, HR, Communications and marketing) to define the objectives.

AOP:


  • Annual budget update, which includes our short term objectives and the plan to reach those targets;
  • Lead a multifunctional team (finance, sales, operations, HR, Communications and marketing) to define the objectives.

M&A / Joint ventures

  • Analyze potential M&A targets within the Salty business and JVs for the whole business;
  • Evaluate together with Brazilian ExComm members and Corporate M&A the strategic reasons to acquire potential players within the salty category together with its valuation. After that, lead due diligence and postmerger effort together with a multifuncional team.

PBF's CEO leadership presentations support:

  • Leadership / events executive presentations;
  • Support PBF's ExComm on strategic presentations to senior leadership (e.g. global CEO and Latam CEO).

YOUR IMPACT
As Strategy Senior Manager your scope would consist of:

Strategic Deep Dive:


  • Lead PBF's yearly 5year plan process;
  • Support the Finance team with operating assumptions to conduct P&L estimates in light of the strategy plan;
  • Conduct strategic analysis to support PBF's plan;
  • Align main Insights and results with LatAm Strategy team.

AOP:


  • Support the PBF's finance team in the yearly AOP process;
  • Support the Finance team with operating assumptions to conduct P&L estimates in light of the strategy plan;
  • Conduct strategic analysis to support PBF's plan;
  • Align main Insights and results with LatAm Strategy team;

M&A / Joint ventures (JVs):

  • Map potential M&A opportunities for the business;
  • Map potential JVs opportunities for the business;
  • Conduct strategic analysis to recommend go / no go for each opportunity;
  • Lead due diligence efforts in case the business decides to go ahead;
  • Lead postmerger integration efforts in case the business decides to go ahead.

PBF's CEO leadership presentations support:

  • Prepare ad-hoc strategic presentations to PBF's CEO whenever there is an event / meeting;
  • Be the key point of contact of the PBF's General Manager (Alexandre Carreteiro) in any leadership presentation and events.

Qualifications:

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • At least 8 years of experience as an effective employee in Strategy, Consultant firms or Investment Banks;
  • Previous Consumer Goods experience is a plus;
  • Lead and coordinate multifunctional teams;
  • Analitical Skills;
  • Fluent English and Intermediate Spanish languages required;
  • Comunication/Interrelationship skills.
