The Service Contracts area, within the Customer Experience & Services department, oversees the financial and operational aspects of Volvo Service Contracts.

We provide robust support to the commercial division, dealership network, and Volvo truck and bus customers throughout Latin America.


Our primary focus remains on providing the best customer experience and always do so by seeking continuous improvement, process automation, and making data-driven decisions.

As a technical price analyst in Service Contracts, you will be part of the Latin America Service Contracts team and will act as a point of contact between Service Contracts, dealer network in Brazil, Latin America markets and customers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve the Volvo Trucks and Buses service contracts technical pricing process and tools in accordance with local and global policies and best practices.
  • Support service contracts price analysts from other Volvo markets in Latin America to implement best practices in processes and tools for technical price calculation and in the formation/review of the technical price of service contracts.
  • Support the commercial area and the Brazilian dealer network providing guidance and training in the quotation process for service contracts.
  • Develop and implement statistical methods to identify, monitor and analyze possible technical risks to which Volvo Trucks and Buses are exposed in relation to service contracts.
  • Support service contract portfolio managers in managing the health of the portfolio and in implementing corrective actions to recover deviating contracts.
  • Monitor and analyze the service contracts' reported costs to identify potential product quality issues in advance and inform related areas.
  • Continually work towards improving the statistical validity and efficiency of all modelling, projection processes and techniques whilst delivering projects into the wider pricing arena to agreed timescales
  • Suggest, develop and implement new service contracts offers according to the needs of Volvo Latin American markets and customers.
  • Support the LCC (Life Cycle Cost) process for Volvo Trucks and Buses.

  • Advanced level skills in Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English.
  • Advanced level of Spanish will be considered a plus.
  • Advanced level of knowledge in Volvo Trucks and Buses product range and in Service Contracts' business will be considered an important advantage.
Education
Degree in Engineering with knowledge in Statistics and/or Reliability.
