Key Accountabilities:


It's an end-to-end role which covers all three business dimensions: Designing the plans, developing and implementing the projects, measuring results to optimize impact.

The objective is to create long-term value for the brands by driving the vision, planning and implementation of an innovative and locally relevant brand marketing strategy, supporting in the execution of all programming and activations in line with the Safilo vision and HQ brans team guidelines (Polaroid & Carrera).


  • Support the development and shaping of brand strategy. Propose, recommend, and implement innovative commercial activities in accordance with the defined plans to accomplish commercial targets;
  • Lead the annual brands plan/ 3year plan to meet brand, sales and financial targets in line with Corporate strategy;
  • Own the P&L for the brands. Understand and respond to the drivers of brand performance, working in partnership with the commercial teams to deliver a solid commercial plan;
  • Work with the HQ Brand and Supply Chain Teams in setting KPIs and crafting joint plans to maximize brand effectiveness (ABC Ranking, forecasting and contracts);
  • Manage assortment & newness according to profitability targets (GM%) and Work closely with Finance team and Sales Planning team in order to ensure the objectives;
  • Lead and Supervise: Guiding the local sales teams to work more efficiently by analyzing business data and contribute drawing conclusions and recommendations;
  • Followup of sales in order to implement action plans to guide the Sales Force in the adoption of correct strategies aimed at maximizing performance (Activity rate, Scorecard and multi brand follow ups);
  • Bottomup feedbacks from customers and sales force, to boost locally relevant plans in coordination with HQ brand teams and Country and Sales Managers;
  • Regularly plan market visits to monitor & adapt the gotomarket and analyze opportunities, providing competitive analysis, strategies, and tactics.

Desired skills:

  • Previous experience in similar role.
  • Retail experience.
  • Commercial knowledge of needs per channel/ market/ geographic region
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Public relations or equivalent
  • Fluently in English both oral and written
  • Excellent Organizational skills, able to juggle multiple projects at a single time
