Position Description

Carry out commercial service to customers in Brazil focused on the Southern Region Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, for the commercialization of QIAGEN products aimed at the area of molecular diagnostics, both in private and public sector.

Establishing together with managers the commercial strategies, aiming at the achievement of individual and company goals. Perform monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecast, detailing product sales forecast. Manage the CRM system (SalesForce). Publicize QIAGEN's portfolio of products and equipment for commercialization in Brazil.


Work with QIAGEN's main clients in Brazil, according to the established territory, aiming to strengthen the company / client relationship, as well as knowing and meeting the needs of each account.

Prospecting for new customers or business within the sphere of responsibility.


Act as a strategic consultant to the client: explain, demonstrate technical knowledge, presenting the differentials of QIAGEN solutions when compared to other solutions on the market.


Develop partner commitments to drive technical sales, deployment and adoption of improvements to existing customer solutions and implementation of new tests.

Manage the SalesForce system with information about the respective customers and competitors.


Prioritization of the tasks themselves according to definitions of general objectives, also taking into account the priorities of the team itself for the accomplishment of the tasks.

Change in prioritization if necessary after consultation. Active cultivation of regular exchange of information among the team.

Acting in pre and post sales activities, working together with the other departments of the company.


Develop and keep up-to-date the sales contracts for QIAGEN's products or equipment in Brazil, validating with the other departments involved.

Analyze and implement marketing and sales strategies in order to accelerate lead conversion.


Report reasons for success and failure in projects with different customer profiles in the SalesForce system, in order to ensure the adjustment and improvement of QIAGEN's corporate strategies in Brazil.

Monitor the competition and present the information to the Marketing areas and the sales team.


Position Requirements

Educational Background:
Degree in Biology or related Life Sciences degrees (Biology, Biomedicine, Pharmacy, etc.)

Differential:
Postgraduate Stricto Senso in Biological Areas (Molecular Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Immunology etc.); Postgraduate in Marketing or business areas.

Experience:
Minimum 4 years experience with field sales

Specific Knowledge / Skills:
Previous experience in molecular biology and related areas. Knowledge of commercial sales processes and techniques (qualification, leads, opportunities, sales funnel, etc.). Knowledge of the SalesForce system.

Willingness to travel.
