Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:


  • Studying local market trends and competitive activity
  • Communicating with all DN teams involved with channel partner accounts to ensure that the company delivers on its commitments to channel partner accounts and their respective clients
  • Be the partnership bridge and enablement force to drive behaviors both inside DN and in the channel partner account to deliver revenue growth
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with the channel partner account, within the team, and within DN
  • Constantly searching for efficiency gains in DN and channel partner account processes.
  • Coordinating individual on boarding plans for all channel partners in the territory including training for product, processes, and account transition (if applicable).
  • Coordinating channel partner account introductions to all the appropriate internal groups, Service, Home Office (Sales Operations, Finance, Ethics and Compliance Office etc.)
  • Assisting in qualifying new opportunities / prospects and the creation of pursuit plans.
  • Assisting in creation of marketing support plan to drive funnel growth

Required Qualifications:


  • Minimum of bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 8 years of sales or sales management or channel management experience, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Strong knowledge of retail industry and retail store operations.
  • Proven track record of successful partnership development.
  • Experience preferred working with indirect channels including VARs, Resellers, System Integrators and BPOs.
  • General knowledge and understanding of retail industry products and solutions, managed services, professional services, hardware, software and maintenance (DN or comparable)
  • Highly motivated and possess a successful track record of exceeding revenue goals.
  • Possess high level of industry/account/product knowledge.
  • Experience working with both large complex account structures and midmarket organization (e.g. retailers with 5 to 2500 stores on average).
  • Possess a high level of leadership, communication, presentation, critical thinking, negotiation and strategic planning skills.
  • Must be creative, assertive, influential, and able to motivate fellow associates.
  • Must be able to evaluate complex business situations with high degree of selfconfidence.
  • Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to recognize business opportunities and convert those opportunities into revenue.
  • Ability to deal at a strategic level with customers and business partner organization including strong.
  • High degree of comfort working in a demand creation/business development (marketing) role.
  • Ability to create collaborative working environment among other functions within Diebold and ccomplish objectives by leveraging all resources available.
