What would the world be without the flowers?
What would the world be without the flowers? flowers of carmine, of lavender, we would not have the perfume. What would the world be without the trees? we would not have the notion of our size. What would the world be like without the plants? there would be no colors. No inspiration, no scent, no romance, no landscape, there would be nothing left, only the ashes of stones, and the hardness of the rocks. The world would be so without beauty. So unscented, so tasteless.
The perfumes of the plants soften the soul, the majesty of the trees make us humbler, the flowers leave the world more joyful of the hardness of the rocks, the petrified clay and the aridity of the sand. The temperaments would be desert, the mountains would be flat, and the horizon without landscape. How would they be? how would they be inspired? How would they live?
What would a man look like without the colors? what would the man with no sense of smell look like? how would the man without vision? what would a man look like without his flowers? how would man be without his perfumes? how would man without beauty be? how would humanity be without a sense of greatness? what would a man without a flower look like to give to his love? What would become of the Irises? What would van Gogh do without the flowers?

Thanks Louise, the flowers inspire me, just like the plants, they are loves to take care of because when they are in our house, they are very dependent on our care. I love, I think the world would be very bland without the beauties of plants and flowers. How lovely that you love them too.
